On 5th March, the opening ceremony of the Second Chinese Language Training Course for SAPS was held at the office of Cape Town Chinese Community Police Forum. Consul Genera Liang Shugen, Mr Wang Zhigang, Police Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, Mr Wynand Viljoen, Western Cape Provincial Training Head and Mr Chen Zhujin, Director of Cape Town Chinese Community Police Forum and other officials attended the event.

They all highly appreciated the relations between Western Cape SAPS and the local Chinese community and hope that through the Chinese language course, the SAPS officers will better understand Chinese culture and will provide better service and safe environment for Chinese community in future.
