On January 16, 2017, Mr Phumulo Masualle, Premier of the Eastern Cape, wrote to Consul General Kang Yong, extending his warm wishes to the Chinese Community for the Chinese New Year.

CONGRATULATORY  MESSAGE FOR THE CHINESE COMMUNITY ON THE OCCASION OF THE CHINESE NEW YEAR 

 

On behalf of government and the people of the Eastern Cape Province, we wish to extend warm wishes to the Chinese Community for the Chinese New Year. During this period may you find time to share special moments with your families and friends. May this also be a time for reflection and refocus so that you may continue to prosper in all your endeavours.

As a province we wish to extend our gratitude for the positive contributions you continue to make in our communities. We sincerely hope that our partnership will continue to grow from strength to strength!
