On 21st June, Consul General Kang Yong wrote to Lieutenant General Khombinkosi Elvis Jula, Western Cape Provincal Commissioner, SAPS, expressing his sincere thanks for SAPS Malmesbury Station officers' outstanding performance in an armed robbery case against a Chinese citizen in the region. Citing how SAPS officers took prompt and resolute actions after receiving the report by the Chinese citizen, Mr. Kang said those SAPS Officers' professional performance brought comforting sense of safety to Chinese nationals in local community.
