On 23rd Oct., Ambassador Liu Guijin and Consul General Shi Weiqiang hold reception on board "Yuan Wang" 3, celebrating the complete success of "Shen Zhou" 6 manned spaceflight. About 100 people attend the reception. Among them were Director of China Maritime Tracking and Control Department(CMTC) Mr Jian Shilong, Director of South African Maritime Security Agency, Deputy Mayor of Cape Town, Consular Corps in Cape Town, representatives of Chinese community in South Africa and Chinese students in Cape Town.

Ambassador Liu Guijin indicated in his speech that since the very beginning of its formation, "Yuan Wang" 3 carried out many times of significant scientific surveying missions, and fulfilled successfully all of them. The complete success of "Shen Zhou" 6 indicates that China has made a new breakthrough in the manned space industry. It also indicates that China has achieved a new milestone success in the development of manned spaceflight technology and experiments in outer space with human participation. The progress in the manned space industry will enable China make more contributions for the human kind.

Director of CMTC Mr Jian Shilong indicated that "Yuan Wang" 3 proves to be an outstanding representative of the Chinese maritime tracking and control fleet. It played an irreplaceable role in ensuring the consummation of "Shen Zhou" 6 spaceflight. He also expresses his sincere thanks to the Chinese Embassy in South Africa, the Consulates General in Cape Town and Durban, and South African government for their care and support for "Yuan Wang" 3.

In the lively atmosphere, people of all walks expressed their congratulations to Ambassador Mr Liu Guijin, Consul General Mr Shi Weiqiang, Director Mr Jian Shilong. While talking about the successful launch and safe return of "Shen Zhou"6, many overseas Chinese feel beyond-description excitement.
