From 25th Nov. to 27h Nov, Zhang Xingxiang, Vice Secretary of Liaoning Provincial Committee of CPC, visited Cape Town with his 8- member delegation. On 25th Nov, Mr. Zhang Xingxiang attended the ceremony on which Shenyang International Cooperation Co. (SICC) signed a contract with SA MILANO Co. for purchasing asbestos worthy of $10.5million. In the signing ceremony, Mr. Zhang Xingxiang gave a brief introduction of Shenyang, and stressed that despite the distances, the two highly complementary economies would continue developing trade and commerce and believed that win-win results will be achieved on the base of mutual benefits.
Mr.Shi Weiqiang, Consul-General of the Chinese Consulate-General in Cape Town, also attended the ceremony.
