On 8th March 2006, Consul-General Mr. Shi Weiqiang attended the Picture Exhibition titled "Dynamic Beijing".

To promote the awareness of "2008 Beijing Olympic Games", the Consulate-General of P.R.China in Cape Town held the Picture Exhibition in University of Western Cape.

Having enjoyed the colorful pictures, Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Tshiwula and other local students were immerged in the Chinese history and culture. They expressed the admiration for the economic and social development by Chinese people.

Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Tshiwula appreciated the exhibition played an active role in understanding Chinese culture and art for the South African students. She also wished to utilize this opportunity to develop the educational and cultural exchanges between China and South Africa.

Mr. Shi Weiqiang introduced the exhibition plan in other universities and expressed the willingness to enhance bilateral exchanges and build up the comprehensive relations in many fields.
