On 18th of January, Consul-General Mr. Shi Weiqiang held the Farewell reception for Deputy Consul General Mrs.Yu Hong. MEC of Health minister,MEC of Finance of Western Cape Province, members of SA Parliament, people from business, culture and education circle, members of consular corps and representatives of local Chinese communities and Chinese students in Cape Town totally about 100 people attended the reception.

                         

The friendly and warm atmosphere featured the reception. The guests expressed their appreciation Ms.Yu for the development of Sino-SA relation during her post in Cape Town, and wished her a better future. Ms.Yu extended sincere thanks for the help and support from local foreign friends and Chinese communities to her work.

                        

On 15th of January, local Chinese communities held a farewell reception for Mrs.Yu as well.
